The year is 21XX. Corporate controlled city-states are all that remains of humanity after our climate changed for the worse. Now folks survive as corporate wage-slaves or by fighting a losing battle against the powers that be in underground gangs and anti-corporate collectives. But you're different. You’re a freelancer, a scoundrel with bills to pay and something to prove. You take risky jobs for good cred, 'cause both the corpos and the gangs need someone to do their dirty work.

Welcome to Prime City. Who you gonna be? Some stone-cold lethal Rank? Maybe some sly Hacker, a wizard on the 'Net? Maybe you'll be the face of the crew and play a Suit? Or maybe you'll make your own custom hardware as a Splicer.

In Neon Black players take on the role as poor but gifted freelancers in a cyberpunk dystopia, taking jobs from cut throat corporate executives and shady criminal syndicates. In Neon Black you not only create characters, but a crew of NPCs and assets that could be anything from a bounty hunting business, a group of anarchist punks, or even idealistic entrepreneurs. Take jobs, take risks, get paid.

During this session the creator of Neon Black will take you through the latest version of his game, starting with character creation and the game’s opening session: a job to end all jobs. Some corporate suit is looking for a crew to steal another corporation’s artificial intelligence. Sounds easy right? Well let’s play to find out what happens.

No knowledge of Blades in the Dark or any other RPG required. Come to have fun and give feedback!
